Bonfiglioli Introduces the Newest Generation of Parallel Shaft and Helical Bevel Gearboxes.

• Splined Output Shafts to DIN Standard 5480: This configuration is designed to serve the automotive industry, but can also be used for other applications subject to frequent reversing and shock loads, such as cranes, gantries, etc.
  
• Taper bushing kits for output shafts. Frame sizes A10 to A60 using this option will now have three to four different bore sizes. Bushing kits enable the gearbox to match a wide variety of shaft diameters and facilitate easier disassembly after extended periods of service.
  
• Servomotor input adapters. Gearbox sizes A05 to A60 will be available with a number of different input flanges matching the most common brands and types of servomotor. Coupling to the servomotor shaft can be achieved using a conventional keyway or alternatively a low backlash clamping device. These servomotor adapters can also be used on our C, F and S Series Reducers.
  
• Reinforced bearings of the taper roller type are now available on gearbox sizes A10 to A50 by specifying the HDB option. This configuration extends the maximum OHL throughout the ratio range, and withstands higher thrust loads. This increase can be as much as 35% to 70% of rated overhung load, depending on the overhung load component.
  
• Safety covers are now available for all A Series gearboxes. These metal covers protect the ends of hollow output shafts (UH_), which would otherwise be exposed, increasing customer’s safety.
  
• Exact ratios: A table of transmission ratios for all A Series gearboxes, expressed to five decimal digits, is now given in the catalogue to provide the precise figures needed for applications such as axis control, involving programmable control logic.
